Domenico Siracusa

Dr. Domenico Siracusa is currently the deputy head of the Future Networks (FuN) research unit at FBK CREATE-NET. He received the PhD in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano in March 2012. He is and has been involved in many commercial and European projects on Software Defined Networking and transport technologies, including BONE, STRONGEST, CHRON, PRISTINE, NETIDE, INSPACE and 5G-Crosshaul EU projects. Currently, he is also coordinating the ACINO H2020 EU project, focused on application-centric transport networking. His research interests include control and management solutions for converged future networks, application-centric resource orchestration, spatially-spectrally flexible optical networking, SDN/NFV and virtualization.
