University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (Austria)
I am currently working on my master’s thesis at the Media Interaction Lab, Austria that focuses on using clothing as an input medium for interacting with computers. Previously, I have worked at the National University of Singapore as well as UBC Hospital in Vancouver on a range of projects, which includes building playful learning approaches for high school kids to early detection of Parkinson’s. This gave me the opportunity to see relations in completely disparate entities through collaboration and observation. The central goal of my research is to overcome challenges in interactions between humans and computers, especially using low-tech devices to enhance the livelihoods for people living in under-served communities around the world.
