PROTECTIVE project aims to provide security teams (CERT, CSIRT) with a greater cyber defence capability through improved cyber situational awareness (CSA). This will simultaneously raise their level of awareness of the risk to their business posed by cyber attacks as well as enhancing their capacity to respond to threats and to solve security incidents. The PROTECTIVE project will develop a comprehensive solution to raise organisational cyber situational awareness through: * enhancement of security alert correlation and prioritisation, * linking of the relevance/criticality of an organizations assets to its business/mission, * establishment of a threat intelligence sharing community. The project consortium consists of 10 organizations, including 3 NRENs. The TI sharing community is however open to other NRENs as well.
